Goal Setting: Breaking It Down

You have this grand plan, an impressive vision of what you want your live to be…then you realize it’s too overwhelming so you took a step back and changed your mind.

There goes your grand plan – your impressive vision of what you would have wanted your life to turn out.

So here’s the trick, it’s pretty simple once you find out what it is.

What you should do is break down your grand plan and set small goals, all in pursuit of achieving your goals.

If you want to lose weight, it can not be just like that. Going on a restrictive diet all of a sudden can be too much and you’ll most likely end up craving for your favorite foods. Slowly readjusting your diet to a healthier eating habit is the right way to go. Gradually, when you are getting used to this new and healthy diet, you’ll realize you’re losing the excess pounds as well.

I found this article which I think you’ll love to read and can be a good source of information and inspiration as well.

When setting goals, break down your big goals into smaller ones. Accomplishing these smaller goals are not as overwhelming as acting towards your big goals. Take small but measured steps, then without realizing it, you’ve already achieved your goals.
