Put Away your Journal and Try This Goal Setting Software!

That sounded rather harsh.

Why anyone in his /her right mind would want to throw away their journal. It is the record of your progress – how far along are you in achieving your goals. You can’t simply put that away. How would you keep track of your progress, right?

I’m going to make a suggestion here.

Have you tried any goal setting software yet?

Did you say no? Well, that explains it.

What is goal setting software anyway? Well, simply put, it’s a computer journal. Very much like your coveted, well-thumbed journal but this time you install the software in your desktop or laptop and you have a “soft” journal.

A goal setting software is very much like having a journal but you can identify, set, work on, organize, track, and achieve your goals more easily, efficiently, and with better flexibility as well. Goal setting becomes more systematic and you can easily see if you’re making some headway or if you’re stuck in the same spot.

Here some of the best reviewed goal setting software:

1. Single-step Goal Setting software
– This program helps you through the entire goal setting process one step at a time to help you identify what you want to achieve out of life. It helps encourage yourself by identifying what is essential to you. It challenges you to describe yourself how you see yourself right now then it puts this image as the first step for your personal growth. You are then asked to set goals for yourself as well as lay down realistic timelines for these goals. It is devised to help you accomplish your goals through affirmations, visualization and methodical action.

2. GoalPro 6.0 – It presents you with an innovative method for breaking down your larger goals into smaller goals, to even smaller time-scheduled responsibilities and appointments. You will develop the habit and the confidence of accomplishing even the day’s seemingly insignificant errand which will eventually lead to the accomplishment of your bigger goals. It has several features which can help you considerably in achieving your goals. These features include a built-in success coach, daily review, goal review generation, success tree, and multiple performance graphs.

3. Dream Manifesto Wizard – Following the latest trend in the law of attraction, the Dream Manifesto Wizard uses this concept in helping you set your goals. The product features include simplifying the process of putting together your exact intentions, enabling you to produce and exhibit as many dreams as you wish, uses proven scientific data from research in quantum physics, and constantly realigns you until your dreams are fulfilled and evident.

4. Achieve-It! Goal Setting Software – This program allows you to identify goals to complete over the next year, over 5 years, 10 years, and so on; using a very sensitive calendar system, you decide on the time frame in which you will to accomplish the goals you have set; you will also have to list the preliminary as well as the current steps that are be needed for you to achieve your goals; and it also offers the option of a list of the benefits when you accomplish your goals as well as the possible drawbacks you will encounter along the way.

It is a good idea to have a regular review of your goals and a software will easily do this for you plus some other features as well.

Some software has the features of an organizer in which you can schedule your tasks and appointments. Each program has a different approach and it is up to you to discover which best suits your needs.

    Hi there,

It seems like all the goal-setting softwares do not support mac os. Is there one that do? Please advice.

    Thanks
    Gary

  2. Carmelle Says:

    Hi Gary,

GoalPro has an option called GoalPro Online which needs no software to download or install, and you may access your goal success routine from home, office, or any computer with an internet connection and compatible browser (Windows, Mac, etc).

Then there’s also Goalenforcer which is a user-friendly purely visual goal setting, planning and managing tool.

Lastly, Sculptor 3 is a unique software which allows you to use different features such as the assignment writing/goal setting and whole brain synchronization (utilizing thought, intuition, sensation and emotion).

    Hope that helped. :D
